Welcome to the Gloposis web site. Gloposis network is real-time GPS-GPRS navigation, GPS tracking and Internet
position exchange system for Windows PCs and Windows Mobile PocketPC devices. Gloposis software for PocketPCs can be used as navigation system
with integrated road and aerial world maps, but main goal is that you can use
your PocketPC to post your position in real-time to Gloposis server and remotely view it on interactive
world map
from any computer through web browser interface without any additional software or from another PocketPC device with Gloposis software installed. You can
also create additional users under same E-Mail address to track them simultaneously.
The Gloposis PocketPC software is optimized for slow speed GPRS connection and
consumes a very low traffic to reduce network costs. To start using Gloposis navigation software please download
it for your PocketPC device. If you want to use Gloposis tracking and position exchange
service, please register online and login to your account
from web browser and from PocketPC. To track users you need to login from web browser
as well as from PocketPC. Additional information is available on

Using our system you can: - view your current PocketPC GPS position on interactive
road or aerial world map with various zoom levels (Google Maps and Microsoft Virtual
Earth supported);
- display your GPS position to another users of Gloposis who
have permissions to view it and view GPS positions of other users in real-time; - view and store tracks locally on PocketPC
and remotely on Gloposis server;
Gloposis PocketPC software features:
- automatic or manual GPS connectivity (COM port and Baud rate);
- different timing intervals for position updates;
- GPS centered map display with current coordinates, compass and speed;
- selectable various zoom levels (from satellite maps to detailed neighborhood
view);
- automatic or manual map caching (map parts can be downloaded manually
to prevent auto download while traveling);
- power saving features (power off, power on, idle mode);
- selectable cache folder location for maps (main memory or storage
card);
- selectable metering systems (kilometers or miles);
System requirements:
Hardware requirements: PocketPC 2003 / 5.0 / 6 device
with GPS receiver and Internet access. All screen
resolutions and screen orientations supported. Supported Device Operating Systems: Windows Mobile 2003 / 5.0 / 6 and
higher version software for Pocket PC with .NET Compact Framework 2.0 SP2 installed.
